A couple of months ago after overhauling the engine, it started to blow oil during cruising and causing EGT dropped down also the O2 wideband reading went to lean side; this continue for few seconds only. But sometimes during idling and low speed especially when coolant temperature at 90 degree Celsius or lower it blows smoke from the exhaust then it stopped; the spark plugs found wet of oil.

The head was removed and all cylinders were visually checked and found some scratches on them on the same location toward the intake manifold. Is this a sign of piston slap problem even if compression test shows 185 psi on all the cylinders? Is it possible that piston rings blowing this oil?
I’m using Wiseco 9:1 piston with stock rods fitted with 0.005" clearance instead of 0.0035" and using oil squirters... is 0.005" clearance will be good with the oil squirters or not?

Any help will be appreciated.
