wont start?

Ok so im buyin a 91 tsi talon 5sp turbo from a guy for $500 "entire car " the thing is it wont start.. i havent drove it or anything but he was saything something about either fuel pump and/or ecu etc... i was curious to price on both and if this was still a good deal.. im wanting to do an engine swap with this car to my 1.8..

also .. just to make sure.. will a 91 awd talon engine bolt into a 94 talon.. 1.8.. i know one of the motor mounts wont bolt right up .. but other then that.. would i be good?

I have done the swap and eveything bolted right in for me...it was pretty straight foward im assuming you have a fwd tranny or something, any questions let me know, i think it's a good deal, check the ecu and see if its caps are leaking, thats an easy fix, the fuel pump it no biggie either as im sure you could just upgrade to a 190 or find a stock turbo one no problem.

A Bad CAS will make both the car not start and fuel pump not turn on.
as will a blow ECU fuse, Eff'd ECU , leaky caps
ingition tranistor, coil pack wont let it start either but i think the pump will kick on.
