Mil Town,
I was driving my car and I went to stop at a stop light. I put it in netrual and it died on me(its a 5 spd). I tried starting it back up and it just kept dieing. I let it sit over night and the next morning i went and started it up and it ran fine. But then it's like when the engine gets hot it died agian. Like it doesnt hold the ideal. When i start it i can keep reving it to keep the car running. But I checked the timing belt and that looked fine. I had a check engine light on but that was bc of the o2 sensor on my 3" catback exuasht. Unless that some how has something to do with it. The car has gas in it. An idea's on what it could be.

:dsm: i had a similar problem a few weeks back, turned out a few wires for the ecu wire harness were cut through an had fried the ecu so u might want to check that

A bad ISC is probably the most common cause of what you are describing. Check the resistances between the 2 center pins of the ISC and the pins on each side of it. Should be between 28 and 32 ohms cold. Since it dies after warming up, check them when warm. They should be somewhat higher, but all similar. If one resistance is very high, your ISC is toast.
