I have a 1G 92 Talon It's blowing out white smoke like crazy I'm trying to figure out if the turbo went bad or if it might be pston rings, or a head gasket. Can someone tell what other syptoms the car will have with a bad turbo? I have no access to a tool that checks compression cause the car is sitting with a broken tranny. It's actually my brothers car he is giving it to me and im deciding if I want it. But if it is something more serious then a turbo im not sure I will want it. I love DSM's though have had 3 in my family within a year LOL. Help me out please

Also my brother was saying he saw water coming from the exhaust could this be a coolant problem? Because when the car started smoking it was not drivable it just started happening a few days after the car was sitting. But also when the tranny went out the radiator busted both the radiator and tranny went out at the sametime cause my brother hit a bump under the car. Can coolant be leaking into the exhaust?

No it is normal for your car to drip some water when you first start it up. It is caused from condensation build up after you shut the car off. Check the oil and see if it has water mixed in with it. If so, time to change your headgasket :p .

But it started smoking really bad just after a couple days of jusy sitting there. Are you sure its just condensation? My brother also said he saw water by the head gasket but hes just trying to mkae things up probably but I wil go check my oil right now.
