leaking radiator fluid...please help!

ok...so im about to take the bolt that holds the downpipe off...i had just sprayed some pb blaster up there to help out....WELL!...you know that little metal pipe...just the the left of it...(oil filter side)...the one that connects to that little SS pipe that goes in right after the oil filter?...well...that little pipe RIGHT next to the downpipe was ALL rusty...so when i first start getting driped on as im trying to get the bolt off of the hanger....i cant figure out where its coming from...then i see it...a coulple small holes in that rusty line....dripping out the radiator fluid...GREAT!!....i guess the PB blaster...and then my rubbing it a bit with the socket wrench did the trick....so now im leaking a bit...so stupid me...i touch it a bit to see exactly whats going on...seemed like every time i touched it...it got worse...ok.......im streatching this out too far...anyways...so i end up buying a longer hose to go over the holes...well...it ends up breaking off there...so i push the hose as far up as i can and i clamp it down...now i have a small leak...
questions:
what is that line....what does it do?
what should i do to fix this?
has anyone else had this prob?
does anyone know what im talking about?
i would post pics...but our digi cam is broken ...so please..use your imagination...
please help...i would like to be able to drive to work in the morning!

i think your talking about the coolant line for the oil cooler, maybe someone can help ya with the fix cuz i dunno i dont have a turbo car and havent seen this stuff myself, but maybe you could buy a new hard line from the dealer?

Be glad you found it in the driveway instead of 200 miles away.

If it's the tubing going into the oil cooler, you'll need a new cooler. Or, a used one from Mitsubish Graveyard or the like.

If it's a hard line elsewhere, same answer.

well...its not the line connected to the cooler...cause there is a short rubber hose between the cooler and the rusty line...
i was looking through the haynes manual and i couldnt find anything on it....just the air cooled one...anyways....so that one line be replaced? does it bolt to the radiator? and its the one JUST to the left of the downpipe...is that incoming or outgoing then? cause i have a temp fix on it:
broke the rustyline off at holes...put a longer hose on it....and then some high temp epoxy to seal it at the top of the rubber hose...its not been leaking anymore...for now...but im VERY scared...so ive been bringing about 3/4 gal of fluid in my car....just incase...

well...i went into my local dodge dealer to see if i could get the line i needed....he couldnt find it....all he was bringing up was a bunch of air-stlye coolers....maybe the guy just didnt know what to look for...im gonna go see a mistu dealer....
has anybody esle had this problem before?

Also...does anyone know if that is the intake for the cooler or the outgoing side?
and how hard is it to switch to an air cooled version? im prolly just gonna leave the water version...just wondering...
and is there any place that i could get this line other than the dealer?

im thinking more and more im going to...cause i just got off the phonw with the loacal mitsu dealer...looking for the part i need....and when i told him i had a 91 talon tsi awd he told me that i had to go to chrysler...then i asked hime to look it up as a gsx...and he WOULDNT! he just told me i had to go to chrysler....anyways...
should i buy a brand new one? or should i just find one on ebay or somthing?

ok...heres the newest....still need some sort of help:
went to a different dodge dealer...and on his computer he found the part!!!! BUT--its been discontinued and there is no dealer in the country that has one in stock! so what am i to do?
also...i noticed that under my car...everything in that pic is rusty...although it does get better up higer....
could i cut the line up there and get a longer hose and connect it there? or would it be to hot for the hose?
does anyone have an extra line for that? maybe someone that swaped out for a 90 cooler? PLEASE!!!

Write a letter to the owner of that dealership, with a copy to Mitsubishi, and ask if it's their policy to send away loyal customers.

Contact Gary at Mitsubishi Graveyard, or M&S Recycling for a replacement pipe. Or, just build one.

well...i ended up calling back acting like i had a gsx...and how they do things there is by vin #...so mine didnt work since its a EAGLE...but whatever...i think thats a stupid way..but i guess i cant get sooo mad as before....

and mitsubishi graveyard? where is that? and m&s recycling? dont know of either...could you give a number? or www? cause im driving it again....with a TON of epoxy over the area......anyways...still scary...
