On my 56 trim that I've had not even 6 months yet.

Findings:
Blue/gray smoke from exhaust at idle and accelerating. God awful oil burning smell

Other than that, the car runs fine. I can boost, and hold boost. The turbo spools like normal, doesn't whine. The engine itself also feels fine. It happened last night, and I've been at work all day so I haven't been able to check anything out.

What should I do? What should I look for? My oil level is fine also.

Obviously check the shaft for shaft play, both in and out and side to side.
If that is fine, your rings might be shot but it doesn't really sound like it.
I don't know what others will tell you, but if it was my car and after checking the shaft for play and finding it ok I'd change the oil and see what happens then. Maybe check to make sure the feed line isn't partailly clogged resulting in problems when the oil pressure is low.

Good luck with it Phoenix.
