Can anybody share their experience of dropping the entire drivetrain out the bottom, rather than lifting it out ? I want to drop everything as a unit out the bottom of the car. Same way as it is installed.

Please leave your coments and experiences.

The reason I want to do this is my subframe broke on my turbo car. I am dismantling my non-turbo to scrap it and use the subframe in my turbocar.

You would have to take off both manifolds and you will need a lift. Just disconnect everything and make sure it doesn hti anything. ihave a feeling it would be alot harder that just pulling it out. I still dont understand why the frame, under the car, is making it hard for you to lift the motor up and out.

-I did remove the block(without head) throught the driver side wheel well before, but not the entire drive train.
