Question on lifters

Can a set of unrevised lifters on cause part throttle knock? Once I get into the gas & hit like 10hg in vac I start getting knock. I dont get any knock at idle. Wouldnt a set of unrevised lifters cause knock at idle also? Where is the cheapest place for revised ones?

i got mine from parts dinosaur on ebay...like 130 shipped, but yes, it can cause knock if they are ticking.

ok thanks for that resourse. Yea they are ticking pretty loud. I am just trying to chase my false knock issue. Is the TPS tied into the knock sensor to where when I get on the gas the knock goes up?
