Just wondering how much oil you Turbo DSMs out there go through between oil changes. I've driven about 2k highway miles since my last oil change (5W30) and looks like I'm about 1/2 to 3/4 of a quart low. Is this typical? As far as I know, I dont have any blue/black/white smoke out of the exhaust. I DO have a catch can installed and gutted the PCV valve as in the OPTIONS part of this link : http://www.roadraceengineering.com/instructions/catchcaninstructions.htm

Not leaking a single drip anywhere else . . . any ideas?

Put a new PCV valve in. Your "twice the crankcase ventilation" is probably where your oil is going.

Oil loss will vary with engine loads, condition of seals, rings, valve guides and gaskets.

Think I should route that hose coming off the PCV valve to the intake manifold (stock) or keep it going to the Catch can? Or you thinking that since the PCV is open while under boost, it's blowing-by there?

As far as seals . . . everything should be pretty good. Nice compression across the board, new head gaskets, valve guide seals, etc . . .

I'll throw a new PCV valve and see how it goes- thanks for the reply :D
