i HAVE 66K ON MY 2.4L AND I JUST CHANGED THE OIL TWO DAY AGO. AS SOON AS I WAS DONE I STARTED THE CAR AND A TICKIN SOUND STARTED. SO I TOOK A MICROPHONE STETHISCOPE AND FOUND OUT THAT IT IS COMING MORE FROM TIMING BELT SIDE OF THE ENGINE. I KINDA TICKS LIKE A GUMMED UP LIFTER. i CANT TELL IF IT JUST COINCIDENCE THAT IT STARTED AFTER I CHANGE OIL. I THINK DOIN IT AGAIN ONLY THIS TIME MOTOR FLUSH THE ENGINE FIRST. AND I ALSO HAD PLANS TO DO THE TIMING VERY SOON. PERFORMANCE WISE NOT MUCH OF A DIFFERENCE EXCEPT THE CAR DOES NOT HAVE THE SAME POWER ALL THE TIME KINDA DOGS OUT BUT THEN IMMEDIATLY FINE, AND THE COOLING FAN COMES ON MORE OFTEN. WHEN THE FAN COMES ON RPMS DROP TO ABOUT 500 OR SO. IF ANY ONE HAS A IDEAS OF WERE I SHOULD BEGIN PLEASE TELL HELP ME OUT.

. THIS IS STUPID WAY WASTE TIME OVER MY CAP LOCK BUTTON. THAT WILL HELP MY CAR GET FIXED :laugh: . IM SO GLAD THAT BOARD PEOPLE HAVE TIME TO REPLY WITH NO HELP
