oil leak

I found some oil on my valve cover today. I think that it is cracked or something? but do u think that there might be another problem? and if it is cracked how soon do I need to replace it?

If you can find the crack and it is small enough, you can use JB weld on it. I know a guy that used JB weld and it is still holding with his 11.8@ 120 MPH time-slip

Maybe its just your oil cap. Many of my friends got good results from just putting a gasket on top of the oil cap. Its like $2 from any autostore and just slap it on top of the cover.

I also had oil on the valve cover from a leaking oil cap. Also check your pcv valve, if its bad pressure will find other routes to escape.
