i was wondering how to put dual exaust on an talon tsi. i have seen it done. how do they do it? i heard you just can't slap two mufflers on there because of back pressure??????

That would be pointless, its only a 4 cylinder, and it has a turbo. I guess you could split it off the cat and run 2 straight pipes, but why reduce flow?

-If your is a AWD, good luck finding space route the 2nd pipe.

why would that reduce flow? It would unrestrict the exaust a lil more..

However it is a worthless upgrade, as it woulden't be TRUE dual exaustm for that you need twin turbo.. which again is worthless for a talon tsi..

Not to mention it'l just make it quieter, if u have a problem with being to loud, run a muffler

Actually it would cause a restriction...it has to pass through the Y pipe instead of just going straight. How does that not cause a restriction? Isn't going straight faster then hitting a Y then going straight? Also it is pointless, because you only have one "outlet" (the DP) vs on a V6 or V8 car you have 2 headers, so then it makes sense.

Definately would not help performance. If you want it for just looks than go right ahead. Personally I dont think it would look good. Lil too ricey for me.

Twin turbo? Please dont mention that I have enough trouble getting my big ass hands in there to work on anything as it is I dont even know where the hell I could fit another turbo not too mention everything else that goes with it you would need.

The twin turbo thing has been beaten to death on this site.

Don't even try it.

Dual exhaust makes no sense. Leave the car single exhaust and bend your mind around real issues, like how to extract the 20 horses that APC claims for their intakes.
