I'm running 8psi of boost on my eclipse and im having problems getting the FP to rise enough or at all to support the boost. I currently have a Vortech SFMU and walbro 255lph with stock injectors.

I have tried putting a pump on the regulator and setting it at 8psi so the FP will rise to about 100psi and stay there ok...good the regulator works. So i start to drive and as soon as the turbo spools past 3psi the FP drops down like a bullet to 20psi (no change to the regulator). I tried clamping the return line by the tank and it took forever for the FP to start to rise. Next i tried to clamp it before the regulator the FP rose quicker but i dont think quick enough.

So according to the graph that i attached i may have gotten the wrong Fuel pump. I bought this pump off ebay new and it was listed the same as all the rest - walbro 255lph, but im thinking i should have looked for the walbro 255lph-HP.

Can anyone verify having this problem with this pump or tell me if this graph is accurate. I have been trouble shooting this for like 2 weeks  and this is about all i can come up with.

The next thing i was going to try is making a direct power line from the battery to the pump, but i dont think this will change anything.

so are you hitting fuel cut when you take it for a drive at 8 psi?

If not, keep turning up the boost until you hit fuel cut. Then back it off a psi or two.

I simulated boost to the regulator (8psi) started to drive with the FP at 100psi. As soon as i hit 2psi of boost the fuel starts to cut. by time i get to an actual 8psi from the turbo im looking at about 20psi of fuel pressure....

It is like it cuts after 2psi
