ok, i'm putting the head back on after getting a valve job done. i plan to put the head back on without the cams in first. my question is, how should i have the pistons lined up before and how should i put the cams in and adjust he timing without bending valves in the process? any advice would be great.

Just turn the motor until the pistons are all in the middle of the cylinder bore, but I have started with the motor with thee number 1 piston at TDC and haven't had any problems, just try and line up your cams when you put the in so as not to have to turn them very much. Good luck. :thumb:
