K i got this link http://www.raktron.com/fuel/rewire1.html

but as the site says it might be different for a AWD . Why is that ? Is there anything that i should be ready for ? Im going to try and get this done thur and i also like to have a step by step just in case i get into any trouble. Thanks guys

p.s
i did try searching also.

it looks different. go to www.vfaq.com they have several different desriptions on hoe to wire it for 1g AWD.

Well, unless Mistsu used different wires and colors from fwd to awd, you would think it would all be the same. The only difference I can see is from generation to generation, awd/fwd shouldn't matter, but what do I know?

by my post what do i know ?

well i wouldnt think that there would be a difference but i wanted to be ready for it. When something seems too easy it always turns into a project. Every DSMer knows that , LOL . Like for example i went to radio shack with my little shopping list a manager greeted me as soon as i got there , took the list from me and got me everything in a matter of mins. Now for every good there is a bad (the bad comes tomorrow when i attempt the job) :D

thanks for post guys :thumb:

AWD and FWD is different on a 1g..well mine was, but its a 90.

also to add to that last post of mine the BCS also has to be disconnect as well right. Im a double check whore , i know . (stupid dsm trying to make me a mechanic  )

The only difference between 2g FWD and 2g AWD is that AWD has a few extra wires for the gauge/light sending units. Use the vfaq that you found and ignore the extra wires on your car. (BTW all wire colors are the same)

thank you i did the rewire today and car is running whoohoo. There are extra yellow wires that i did ignore like you said. Also different is we dont have a blue wire (meaning solid) its a black wire , spotted blue. That was only change. Over all not a hard job. thanks guys.
