I think of valve seals off the top of my head....anything else? :talon:

Ok some supporting info: Car is cold, first start in the morning or after it has sit for awhile.
Smokes only 10 to 15 secs. Blue in color.
No decrease in performance at all.
I have no head mods at all.

That is it if it smokes at start up, or if you leave it sit at idle for a long time the take off. or if you coast down a long hill in gear without hitting the gas then give it gas at the bottom of the hill you will see a puff of blue smoke. The reason is the engine is seeing a lot of vacuum witch is pulling oil past the seals into the combustion chamber and when you give it gas, it burns the oil. In addition, when you see the smoke when you start it up it is oil that is seeping past the seals onto the top of the piston then poof smoke.

not alot of people have had this problem, but some have...........the breather hose that runs from the valve cover to the intake manifold carries oil in it also...which there for gets into the intake.....when letting sit over night, that little bit of oil runs down the intake onto the valves, or even into the cylinder causing a little smoke on start up if the car has sat for a bit
