Is there an easy way to get rid of that annoying ticking noise I hear when idling. It's gotten pretty loud and makes my car sound like a hooptie.

Thanks for the tip.philipkrotch said:no its not. i pulled a macgyver and tied my cam gears up so it never left tention off the belt and took the cams out. but all u have to do to make it easier on yourself is take a screwdriver and pop out the roller rockers and just replace the lifters. i reccomend loosening the cam cap bolts to let some tension off everything so its not as ahrd. remember to torque the cam cap bolts down to 15 ft/lb when done.

new lifters if really needed but a can of BG 44k oil treatment cleans your engine of deposits and man oh man i did it to my own 2g and to customers and not one has come back yet. works great and the 44k is the best 10 bucks you'll ever spend on your car.
good luck
prostreetdsmx1 said:put in the first 3 quarts then the BG then the other 1.5 quarts. Thats how i do it. Try other BG products too man, synchro mesh is awesome and fuel treatment is great too.
