I have a 92 laser with a 1.8 in it. It has spark on all cylinders, compression is above 100 on all, #1,3 cylinders the injector wires are flashing with noid lights. The #2,4 are not firing. What would be the cause of this? I'm hoping its not the computer.

Thanks

Well not sure if this is THE problem, but it is A problem - 100 PSi compression is way below the service limit of 131 PSi.

Anyway, try testing the coil pack with this method (copied out of a 92-94 electrical manual):

You must be logged in to view this image or video.

If that checks out, then check the ECU for leaky caps.

Mine doesnt have the coil packs. It has a distributor on the drivers side. The compression was rechecked with a different tester and it reads 136-142-139-150. I still have no luck getting it to run. It will hit a lick a few times then cut off. The cam timing has been checked 5 times. I set the actual timing twice. Fuel pressure is fine, just 1&3 injectors are pulsing. Can figure it out. Ran one day and the next day it wont...

Thanks
