I was out running hard in the twisties one day. My radiator sprung a leak from one of the runners. The engine over-heated pretty bad. The webbing in the radiatior was all dry rotted. I had it repaired. The car continued over heating. I bought a newer radiator had it rodded and installed it. The water level drops within a few blocks of driving normal. I don't know where it's going though. It's not in the oil. I have a new radiator cap.

Even though I know the answer. I want some people to confirm that the head is warped. The car starts and runs as normal. It will overheat if you run it hard. Thanks in advance.

That probably did it in. If not the head, at least the head gasket. You might try a leak-down test to try and diagnose it for certain.

Yep hes right either the head is warped or the headgasket is shot. If you cant get a leakdown test done then at least do a compression test to be sure. Does the exahust have white smoke? If so the coolants being burnt up. When you put it all back together you should go with ARP head studs. Good luck and I hope the head isnt warped and its just the HG! BTW go with mitsu OEM not felpro!!!

What is this leakdown test ? I do know how to perform a compression test, but have not yet. There is not any white smoke.
