is this knocking? + coolant escapage

hey i have a ticking noise comming from my engin, even at idle. With more RPM's the ticking gets a lot faster, but not that much louder. Is this knocking. i just had my head rebuilt not too long ago(but to be honest, unfortunatly, i dont really have total faith in the shop that did it) b/c my timing belt broke and bent a bunch of valves. So if this isnt knocking what knocking? and is it bad? Also my coolant in my resevoir seems to disappearing? How do i know if i have a coolant leak and how do i find it

OUCH!!! Pull you dipstick, what color is the oil? You sir may have a blown headgasket.

stay tuned plz mike, i'll check as soon as i get home in about an hour. I thought i had some kind of exauhst leak b/c i can hear a "air seeping" noise win i have the windows down. If it turns out to be a blown headgasket, would it be possible to put the blame on the garage that rebuilt it ?? i dont have a lot of cash and like i said i dont really trust them that much.

Will driving it, or driving it hard do further damage. I was planning on going to race tonight with some friends

I do know there's a retorqe procedure when putting a head on, check you oil tonight, if its a milky color then your mixing coolant and oil. If indeed this is the case do not drive it like that. This will harm bearings. I say check the oil and do a compression test
