Front turn signals not working

Rear turn signals work but the front don't. What could cause this? Bulbs are fine.

Always check the fuses.

My fuses are fine. However there are two empty fuse sockets in my fuse box. But I doubt either of them would be causing this type of problem. Maybe I'm wrong, I don't know. There are also a couple empty fuse sockets in the fuse box on the passengers side of the engine bay, near the strut mount. Where could I find a diagram of what amperage fuses to use in which sockets, and what they apply to?

Also, could the flasher unit be the problem?

try bendiing the contacts in the socket out so they apply more pressure - that fixed mine

Oh yeah, I had that problem with my 90's front right turn signal lights. Once I took out the bulbs, and blew off the contacts it worked fine. I might replace the contacts eventually.

no need to replace the contacts. cleaning them wont hurt but the problem is most likely that they do not make contact at all. just stick a screwdriver in the socket (with blinkers and markers switched off) and bend the contact up a little.

I'll try it, but it seems strange that both of the front lights would go out at the same time... They aren't on the same circuit are they?

same problem in mine. fixed it the same way.

When you say the "Contacts", you just mean the metal contacts that the actual bulb touches?

yeah, theyre just springs so they get worn in. so bend em back to life
