wastegate problem

i got a p1103 code today what do i do ,could my bov cause this

its the boost control solenoid...either a line fell off, or a solenoid is busted.

im not sure, but i dont think the actuator is connected to the computer in anyway to make it put a CEL, it must be the solenoid, but then again im not sure.

where can i get a new solenoid

my code book says its the wastegate

dealer for sure, maybe a junk yard also. try the mitsubishi grave yard web site.......or intsead of wasting money on that thing, you could buy a joep xz mbc for 45 shipped and a autometer boost gauge for 45-50 bucks new, thats what i would do, theres other brands but those names are great for cheap and reliable stuff.

what book do you have? it must mean the solenoid, cause i dont think theres a way for it to tell if the wastegate is working or not working.
