I bought a Turbo XS manual boost controller and put it on my 1997 Eclipse GSX. I'm pretty sure I hooked everything up right, I even tryed it backwards thinking that I was wrong, but even with the screw all the wat negative it was boosting like 23-25 ish! whats going on???

it is either broken or hooked up wrong. I am not familiar with that particular controller but take it off and you should be back to normal. If you are then you have a problem with the controller.

Try screwing it the other way...

Do not drive your car that way.

You've either a leak somewhere on the boost controller lines, your wastegate died, or your boost controller is dead.

EDIT: and yes, don't drive your car til you fix it.

Take the BC apart and look at it. 9 out of the 10 problems are either faulty hook ups or something going on in the BC like the spring is stuck or what have you.

If its the basic turboxs mbc if it is turned all the way in it will be at the lowest boost and each counterclockwise full turn equals 1 lb of boost.
