O.K. Wierd ass thing happened? I was cruisin down the road and an SI pulled up reving his engine, so I Hit WOT to trip the ZEX for a 75 shot and BANG. The car hit 3500 and started cutting out, like it was hiccuping! couldnt get it to go over 3500, the rpsm kept bouncing down? Sounded like crap! Pulled over and it couldnt keep an iddle, it died. Started it back up and died again! Poped the hood to discover my intake was missing! It has a rubber connector half way up and from that point down it was gone, filter and all, think I ran it over it? WTF? My car now dosnt idle or go above 3500 RPMs in any gear and there is alot of soot in the leftover intake and TB? Intake Backfire? I have no clue and no one dose? Sensor is toast maybe?

HELP My baby is in trouble:cry:

Been running the 75 shot for a while!

 Thanks in advance for any idea???

"your lucky that 75 shot didn't blow the intake manifold welds"

HAHAHA sory had to say that.

umm sounds like maybe it backfired through the intake or something along those lines?

O.K. An intake backfire fried the MAP sensor putting the car in SAFE mode! Cost me $170 for the damn sensor:thumbdown

A week later, the car started acting funny? Slipping in the high rpm range like the clutch was going. Then it started to miss fire like a mother fo! Took it to the local shop! Blown Valve!:thumbdown Another $850!

Just thought I'd let you guys know what had happned! I wasn't running a ignition retard when i was using the 75 shot! The guy at the shop said that had something to do with it!
