ok guys i am going to try and explain this best i can to give u an idea what is happening

1st i just installed a 2g mas(all HC are still in), using the faq's for the wiring, all is right and no CEL comes on.

the car turns on but idles very rough, rpm's drop down to 500 and stay there until the fan kicks on.

also i tried logging the fuel trims and adjust them with the afc but i get nothing, the O2 trim stays locked as the others (LFT,MFT,HFT), once again the fans kicks on, then the O2 trims move(they show around 160). this has never happened before with my old blaha mas. also the logger shows the car to be running way to lean. LFT are pinned @ 140. no matter what i do with the afc they stay pinned. i have tried adding more fuel but problem still is there. it seems to get worse when i add fuel? i should also mention the afc showed to be getting plenty of air, air flow read about 56 on both afc and logger.

with the blaha it showed around 26 to 34 @ idle

then after being on for about 10 the cars shuts off, also when i press the gas i get no response, it sputters and dies

i also should mention i am running 450's if that helps and is causing my problem, also at the time of testing the 2g mas didn't have the filter attached

hope i explained it well enough and u guys get the idea of what is going on.the car is a 92 :talon: tsi awd

Ok I got the car running and idling fine, just a little stutter between 2k and 3k

I disconnected the battery cables to reset the computer, to help it learn with the new 2g mas and correct the fuel curve. I set the lows on the afc all the way up to +40% to get it to idle good, still have to tune it better.

One thing I did notice, I looked under the hood cause I smelt gas and my 1 injector is leaking fuel, I had this problem before and replace all the insulators and it stopped now it is back. Could I be over running the 450's with to much fuel and now they can't keep up.

I do plan on getting 650's just not yet....money is tight

that’s my next mission, got to find a nice spot to WOT, not to many spot around here and the cops are always on the look out here in Bangor pa.
