oil leak help

ive been going through a quart of oil every week or so, after i drive and park the car oil leaks and drips on the ground right below the oil filter, its actually a little back from the oil filter, the entire area has oil all over it so its hard to see where its coming from, i cleaned it off a bit and i think its coming from up near the top. if your looking at the engine to the far right beside the manifold down in where the motor mount comes out from, i can see oil in there, and it seems to be running down over everything

what could possibly be leaking around there

this seems to have happend after a local shop replaced my head

I would clean everything off around that area, then take off your timing belt cover (top and bottom) and then run the engine and check out where the leak is coming from , it should make things alot easier to see w/ the t-belt cover off , but whatever it is..it sounds like it needs to be fixed pretty soon

You have to clean it and look closely. How old's your oil cap gasket?

oil cap gasket is new

i found my oil feed to the turbo out of hte head was leaking down the line and i went to tighten it and it snapped, it was already half snapped when i started, i barely turned it and it snapped, so i used an ez out and put in a cap and installed my stainless steel line to the filter housing

its still leaking at the same spot but not as much now, its very small compared to what it was

my thermostat is stuck closed now so ive gotta prioritize my list of things that are broke and its top of the list rofl...if its not one thing its another
