having a few prollems after putting it all back together

Hey all, i just got my car put back together from having most everything but the engine its self out from under the hood, im happy about that but i got a few prollems now and im not a expert so i might need some help. This is all the stuff that is different from before i took it apart and it wasnt having these problems:

A couple new silicon hoses
emmissions removal(didnt mess with FPR though), including EGR block off and charcoal canister
AC dropped
Cleaned out all my Intake piping, including TB
TB coolant removal
all new fluids(all of them, and used engine cleaner), and filters(air,fuel,oil)
New upstream O2 sensor, elimiinated the downstream O2 sensor
New spark plugs
new seals for tranny, new throwout bearing
new Temp gauge sensor
removed the clutch sensor switch thingy

and before i did this my wastegate was T'ed into the BOV to Intake manifold line and the BSC wasnt even being used, i fixed that and now its how it should be with bov-intakemani wastegate-bsc-turbo intake

and i might have a ground cable or 2 not in the right spot or dissconnected but im not sure.

I think thats most of everything, I have a Check engine light and im gonna go grad a scan tool today and find out whats up with that.
Anyway to the point, what the car is doing.
When i get to WOT or close to it the engine is doing something funny, i cant really tell if its fuel cut or what, its either bogging like a mofo and backfiring or shutting off for second then coming back on or some of both, when whatever happens it decelerates real fast for a second and then goes back to normal. The odd thing is the car runs like a dream as long as i dont go WOT or close to it. Im gonna need some help with this cause i dunno what to do, im gonna find out what that check engine light is for and post that up when i get it, please help cause i dunno whats up.

o and now my turbo spool sound is way louder and the BOV sounds louder, if that makes any diff.
 
Did you rewire the fuel pump? You have a sAFC. If so set everything like -8, this should fix your bogging problem.

no, but ill get on that today.i dunno where it would leak...i was really good about getting everything nice and tight...but ill check.

i didnt rewire it and i dont ahve a sAFC as far as i know my entire fuel setup is stock unless i accentally messed something up.

it didnt start at first...i got really worried then i realized i didnt have my clutch peldal depressed about 30min later....LOL i felt smart
 
okay got my CEL figured out it was the throttle position sensor, forgot to plug it back in LOL and i busted my speed sensor when i had the tranny out and it had codes for both those. I plugged the TPS back in and got the codes cleared and the CEL hasnt came back on yet witch is good and odd cause the speed sensor is still busted and not even plugged in, o and satan wants $60 for the speed sensor, gear not included, ouch.

I havnt actually done a boost/vac leak test yet cause the parts store is dumb so i guess ima have to get one from machV cause it looks like its more cost effective. But i did find a big leak just today my FPR line had came off at the FPR(i dont know if it just happened or is the cause of my problems) i got that back on as tight as i could get it and went ahead and bypassed that FPS thingy(i havnt drove it yet to see if that fixed anything). I also noticed that my valve cover vent hose seemed really lose but i dont know if that would make a difference or not with anything that im having a problem with.

I Also seem to have a lumpy idle also, but only sometimes, less times then more times actually, ive messed with the BISS and stuff and it still seems to happen every now and then. And after i did some more driving the other day im leaning more and more towards fuel cut for my other problem. Its weird, it feels like the car is building boost and runing really strong untill i hit WOT in the high rpms for a few seconds thats why im leaning away from boost leak but im still gonna test it to make sure. Picture this, hard launch..your pushed in the back of your seat..redline shift to 2nd rpms climb fast for a few your still being held in the set then BAM, the car decelerates fast even though your still WOT and you almost get wiplash and lose teeth in the dash (okay so i exaggerated) then it goes back to normal after the rpms fall a bit just to accelerate fast again and try and give you wiplash once more. It sounds like the engine is cutting off (fuel cut) but i just cant tell that great this is the first time ive ever had this stuff happen. Does this sound like fuel cut to anyone? if im in a high gear on the interstate or something if i WOT in 4th or 5th itll do the same thing after a few seconds....the best i can tell is once the car builds good boost its shuting off the engine and sometimes letting a big backfireish fart after it comes back on........but why its not doing it in First gear is confusing me 2, ill stop ranting now. does it sound like i have fuel cut or something else? maybe i didnt do the EGR block off right or something:confused:

o and im on stock ignition, might be old as crap as far as i know, and im using bosch platinum(brand new) for my plugs, just incase any of that matters.
 
My car was doing something similar to this. Any amount of throttle above 4500rmps or so would result in a massive stutter and bog down. The problem was that when I was messing with my intake the vacuum line to the wastegate actuator came off. Therefore causing my wastegate to never open and me to hit boost cut.(I think!)

Just a thought, make sure that vacuum line is on there.

i seem to have fixed the idle problem just buy plugging the FPR hose back on, i have yet to do boost/vac leak test but will be soon, havnt tryed to see if the fuel cut or w/e went away im sorta scared to test it, i dont wanna hurt it. I guess ima buy a joep, some autometer gauges(boostVac/fuelpres/EGT), spark wires, maybe a better coil pack and do leak test then maybe after all that i can find out whats going on. O and all my lines seem to be in the right spot, i have a feeling that my BCS isnt doing its job so thats where the boost gauge and joep come in.

okay i finaly did that the other day and foudn a leak at the welds where the 1g bov was fitted to the IC pipe. I purchased a boost/vac gauge and a EGT, better plugs...NGK 6's instead of the platinum ones i had in there, and a joe p and im rewiring the fuel pump. Hopefully once i get the leak fixed itll stop doing that ### thing its doing. O and the other day i relized that i wasnt hitting fuel cut from over boosting cause the way the car has been set up theres no boost pressure at all working with the wastegate so its opening at w/e the actuator is set at i guess..thats how that works right? well anyway i really hope when i get that leak fixed in a day or 2 that itll drive better and not be ###.:thumb:
