Alright, my car under steady throttle (cruising speeds) will feel like its surging or backfiring (or possibly misfiring?). It's not a horrible surge or anything, but I notice it and it bothers me. Now, the only pertinent information I can think of is that the car does have 106,000 miles on it, my mods are in my profile, and my ECU was swapped out b/c I was throwing an injector circuit code error and I wanted to see if the problem disappeared if I did this. It seems that it has gone away (atleast I'm not throwing the code anymore), however the same symptoms from the error code seem to have remained.

The symptoms from the error code on the old ECU were that if I let the car idle for too long (5+ minutes) it would eventually stall. Not out of nowhere, but, my idle would slowly deteriate until the car died. Well, swapping the ECU seemed to fix this problem at first, well for the first day or so, but now the same thing happens.

So, my question is, after explaining whats going on, does anyone have any clue as to why my car's idle would slowly get worse? Oh, one last thing, I decided to become a ricer for a minute and went ahead and had my stock 1g CBV vent to atmosphere (I know, I know), and it was very strange, the turbo had trouble spooling, it would almost studder/misfire but then the boost would kick in out of nowhere. Could be related, might be entirely different.

Northern, Fairfax, to be exact.

It's possible the Lo settings are too lean. I'll add some fuel tomorrow and see if that doesn't help things out. My fuel trims on the new ECU are acting annoying, the only one that has changed is the low fuel trim, it went from 100% to 117%, but then I added fuel once I saw that change. Now it won't move again.

However, I can say that the idle issue has nothing to do with the settings on the S-AFC. Because I had my low fuel trim almost 100% on my old ECU (when i was throwing the injector circuit code error) and it did the exact same thing. If it sat for too long it would eventually stall/die.
