My car died yesterday while I was reversing out of the bank. After having it towed back to my house I began to take another look at it. I checked all fuses, they are okay. I can hear the fuel pump when I try to start the car. The car just cranks and cranks. It doesn't sound like the timing belt broke, but I am going to check that tomorrow anyways. I checked the resistance across the coil pack and that component seems to be okay. The guy at autozone told me he would give me his extra coil pack for free, so I can test that tomorrow also. I took a look at the ECU, it seemed to be okay, but I'm not ruling out that the ECU could be bad. What other things should I check with the mulitmeter?
I'm thinking these: the Cam Angle Sensor, Power Transister, and Mass Airflow Sensor.
Please give me your input because this is my only car and I need to have it fixed ASAP.
Oh, I also check the voltage going to the coil pack and it was 11.6 Volts, so I'm pretty much stuck. Please help!
