He we go: I bought my first DSM a 1g GSX auto. Was all stock and had a bad turbo and a cracked manifold so i replaced it with a 2g manifold and a new not rebuilt small 16g. Then 3" turbo back exhaust, 255 walbro pump, k&n filter, wix fuel filter, and thats all. The car was running okay at 15 psi but boost creeps a lot! The car has its own mind and runs like crap under 3-4000 rpms. It builds boost but wont go anywhere. So i checked the timing and it was bouncing around at idle so i replaced the cam angle sensor on the head with another used one and set the timing by gounding out the wire off the firewall so it bypasses the ecu and it wasn't bouncing around but to get it right on the timing light (5 deg BTDC) the sensor had to be advanced almost all the way. It started running better for a little bit but it started getting back to the way it was. So i reset the ecu and still the same problem. I wonder if its the ecu... I did some research and read about the capacitors in the ecu going bad but i dont think i smell anything and i am not sure what my next step would be. If anyone can give some pointers it would be apprecaited.
