NEW serious problem

so i have been having lots of trouble figuring out what is wrong with my car (my 92 talon nt). i replaced a lot of the parts from my previous posts that were suggested including the ecu, plugs, wires, inspected coil pack. i got a code 41 from my diagnostic which is injectors. i smell fuel after 20+ seconds of cranking and will be checking them soon. i have noticed that when it is trying to start it does not crank evenly all the time (sometimes it will, sometimes not). i have checked the timing already and its fine, plus if the timing was off then it would be uneven all the time, right? can someon please help me identify my problem?

My friend had problems with an injector hanging open. This would flood up the cylinder, and made it impossible to start sometimes. It also kept fouling out his plug. I would replace the injectors. My friends was weird though, if you tapped on it real hard, it would quit. Who knows?

I know this is a silly question but did you see if you where getting any spark. I had somewhat the same problem you are describing. I found out it to be a CAS wire (blue one) being faulty. Would crank and get the gas smell and then nothing. Hope this helps.

thanks for the input, i will check the injectors and will check out the c.a.s. tomorrow. ill get back to you guys on what i find out.

NOOOOO!~!!!!!!!!!! so i check over everyhting, no spark etc, diconnects the batt. finally i check the ecu that i JUST replaced and it has gone bad. this ecu went bad in the 3 hours that i got to drive the car????? granted i did have the heat and rear defroster, but i didnt know it would go out that fast. this is insane. i am not willing to spend 350 on a new ecu, as i have too many other problems with the car (bruning oil coolant, etc) so, is there any way that i can get a warrantied reconditioned ecu for around $200? i have two ecu's that they can have as "cores" or whatever (yes i know that my ecu's arent worth anything cuz they are broke, but soem places give back 50 bucks each just for the core) any one please!!!!!!

i already orderd a reman. ecu, thanks anyways... by the way we are talkin about the 92 talon non-turbo that i have!!!! thanks again
