Well...I tried figuring out what was wrong with my Greddy Type-S BOV, but couldn't figure it out. I'm hoping someone knows if I can fix it...? I had adjusted it a couple of weeks ago towards the softer side and haven't had any problems until just a couple days ago when I noticed I had stalling problems.
I noticed the stalling when I'd shift into neutral from a previous 4000 plus rpm(doesn't matter what gear). I also notice that the BOV doesn't make the whistling sound anymore. Just a psHhhHh noise. Thought something was loose and checked, but nothing. Carefully took the BOV apart but didn't notice anything broken....the rubber wasn't torn or anything either.
I did install a SAFC a couple days ago, but everything's set at zero. Settings are correct w/ Karman, 4 cylinders, up arrow, etc.
It has nothing to do with the Dec. Air crap since that's only for hot-wire vehicles. It's as if I'm venting to the atmosphere but I'm not. I'm recirculating to the intake pipe. Any clues....?
