ok, so i replace the ecu and the car runs perfect for about 3 hours, then the problem of stalling moderately comes back, but now its worse and the car wont even start. so i unplug and replug the new relay next to the ecu after replacing the ecu (had leaking caps in the last one) just to see if it resets anything and still experiencing problems. soooo. i was in the car and hear a clicking when the key is on acc, and the engine turned off. Not from the ecu, but from under the hood. i figured maybe arching... but no its this plug. i think it a sensor for injection, but im not sure what exactly it is and what do i do to fix it and make it stop clicking/function improperly? also...could a fuse be causing this? if it was the alternator wouldnt it at least start? it is located to the right of the battery in a 1g n/t on the firewall (backside of engine) and circled in the attached photo. please respond asap...thanks

THe clicking is coming from the fuel pump relay, in my 91 gsx, its under my head unit, try checking the fuel pump relay and the ground wiring for it becasue thats what was stalling my car.

i opened the hood and felt the clicking through this sensor though. the fuel relay makes a click that is heard loudly in the interior. this clicking was faint and i found this sensor making it? is this normal for a worn out sensor? the ground sounds liek it could be the problem, could it be sending the clciks to the sensor?

It looks like a evap purge solenoid to me. I don't think that would cause your car to stall though. Check your grounds near the ECU.

could be...

grounds,as stated above

fuel pump

fuel filter

coils

ignition module

ignition switch

fuse connectors

ICS

idle switch

TPS

coolant temp sensor

fouled plugs

ok, so i hooked up my buzzer to the engine diagnostic thing and pulled L-L-L-L-S, which in the code book pulls up as an injector problem. now this code could be pulled from either a bad injector sensor or a bad injector itself couldnt it?
