Fuel Filter

Does anyone know how to install a new fuel fiilter. I tried to do it but could not get to the line at the bottom. I even took out the back seat to cut off the fuel. The book told me the car would run out of gas and die. It never turned off too. Who here has installed one or where can I find some more info on it.

i guess not the same thing DSM engineers were,, have you looked at a DSM ? whoever was behind the designing must have thought about what it would be like to work on a car.. why couldnt dsm go for more then 4 years,,, man..
