Wtb 2g AWD Automatic

I want to buy a 97-99 Eclipse or talon AWD automatic. Must be AWD and Must be Automatic. im leary on getting a 95-96 unless its been rebuilt or 6bolt swapped, ive had nothing but prolbems with 95-96 7 bolt engines.


Im buying this car for my girl, its must be in great condition, under 145k


i will pay as much as 4500 for it if its premo. if you got what im looking for let me know, i will consider non running ones but ill only buy them cheap.


shes got a 96 ford probe se and a 94 nissan altima gxe both autos, both run, drive,stop and are reliable , both arent perfect if anyone wants to do some kind of a trade but its not nesarry.

i have a 91 eagle talon auto awd, i could possibly trade, bone stock virgin.

So i found a 98 gsx auto, at a dealship with 113k dont know the details. Lets just assume it has leather and a sunroof with all the other standard options , what should i expect to pay for it ?

From a dealer? I'd bet they price it around $4800.

I'd say obviously try to buy it as cheap as possible.

If its the white one at rairdon's talked with the manager there. A military guy just traded it in the other day they havent had time to look at it but said theyd probally ask 7-8k for it. Said its been worked on. Has more then a few mods done to it already. And some body kit on front fenders/bumper.

yeah thats the one, and he also said it was a 5 speed so its a no go. also 7800 is way way too much for a gsx, unless it run 11's on a daily basis. funny thing tho when i decoded the vin it came back as an automatic awd. so it could have been possibly converted.

I hate when people assume that because there are beat 2g awds selling for 3200 that a clean title, stock, mint awd is worth 4500.

7800 might be a stretch, but it's not WAY too much. 10,000 is WAY too much. 6500 would be a good price on a nice clean 98-99, GSX.

There are people that would drop 8,000 on a 97-98 tsi awd, easy.

suggested retail of a 98 GSX 5 speed with 113,000 is 7,510 the dealer wanted 7800 remember thats suggested retail. no private party value or trade in valuve which are much lower .They also didnt have any matience records. Thats too big of a gamble i dont make enough money to toss it out on a chance its not gonna blow up in a couple months.
