Golden Gardens Park dsm meet

DSM meet at Golden Gardens Park in seattle . Its pretty central, unless you live past oly....sorry!. Ive been to this park and i know the nismo guys have an event there every march with great success , its has alot of parking , bbq areas, fire pits on the sand, good veiws for photo shots , and alot of activity area, volly ball, basket ball etc. the date i was thinking on is june 8th first sunday of the month, this should offer great weather

, its official... if any of you guys wanna help organize groupes in your area to gather for this it would be much helpful, thanks. See you all soon..

the traditional entry route to the park along 85th Avenue is closed due to severe slide damage it sustained earlier this year.

FROM I-5 SOUTH
Merge onto I-5 N toward SEATTLE.
Take 45th St exit 169 and head west on 45th.
Stay on 45th as it turns into N 46th, then turns into Market, then turns into Seaview ave.
You will eventually end up at 8498 Seaview Pl NW on the left.

FROM I-5 NORTH
Merge onto I-5 S.
Take 45th St exit 169 and head west on 45th.
Stay on 45th as it turns into N 46th, then turns into Market, then turns into Seaview ave.
You will eventually end up at 8498 Seaview Pl NW on the left.

FROM I-90
Merge onto I-5 N via EXIT 2C
Take 45th St exit 169 and head west on 45th.
Stay on 45th as it turns into N 46th, then turns into Market, then turns into Seaview ave.

SEATTLE-BREMERTON FERRY (Check ferry schedule/ fares)

Turn LEFT to stay on MARION ST.
Turn LEFT onto ALASKAN WAY.
Turn RIGHT onto BROAD ST.
Turn LEFT onto ELLIOTT AVE W.
Turn LEFT onto WESTERN AVE W.
WESTERN AVE W becomes ELLIOTT AVE W.
ELLIOTT AVE W becomes 15TH AVE W.
Turn SLIGHT LEFT to stay on 15TH AVE W.

That would be awsome...how do you get there from I-90... and that gives us more than enough time to get are cars ready.

Just a heads up, I was there a week ago and the road from 85th is closed. That is a fun road to drive too fast on, wish it were open. Here's directions for an alternate route:

1. From I-5 North, or South, take 45th St exit
2. Head west on 45th towards Wallingford/Ballard (Towards the Sound

)
3. 45th will jog to the right a couple times going through Wallingford but will eventually become Market St.
4. Follow Market St through downtown Ballard and it will jog to the left then to the right The road follows the water where it dead ends at Golden Gardens/Shilshole Bay.

Sounds like a meet I can make, I'm in

When I-90 ends, just take I-5 North. When you cross the Ship Canal bridge get in the right lane and that is the 45th St exit mentioned in my previous post.

Yeah I do but me and my other dsm buddies go up there every weekend during summer so Its nothig big, plus the drive is nice...
