Valve Spring Compressor

Does anyone have a valve spring compressor tool that I can borrow? I know I can make one, but I'd rather use the actual tool that was made for it than jerry rigging something up. I'm located in San Jose.

if you only need to get it appart, you can use a socket and a hammer, wont work to get it back together though

i see, same here.

when i had to get mine back on i took it to a machine shop and get a valve job done so they put them back on for me.

summit racing has one but its like $40 i think

I paid 50 for mine. Got it from Advance Auto Parts. It's a pretty decent piece. I'm glad I have it. I'd lend it to you but you're kinda far...

$50 isn't tooo bad. You got a picture or part number available? I know a lot of the valve spring compressors do not work with our heads and want to make sure I get the right one.
