Just out of curiosity, has anyone been through SRM with any success? I've seen the "call Steve/10% off parts/25% off labor" ad on the forums every now and then and it sounds good, but I don't trust stealerships. I know fftec is THEE place to be but that's quite a haul from RoPo.

man i dont know about them for labor/parts installation.
I called them one day asking about cams... how much they would be to install, and the guy proceeded to quote me for something rediculous like $200/hr and he went on to tell me how he has to pull the head off to install the cams, or else the valves go ahead and fall in the cyl once you pull off the retainers... i was like ok, no thanks..... Maybe he was confused and thought i was upgrading springs as well, but i cant pay 200/hr for a 3 hr job (by his calculation) when he doesnt seem to know what he was talking about (valves falling out of the cyl head???) haha

SO do your research first, im sure fftec or newlogics can do whatever work better and cheaper. As for a parts dealer... Ive never dealt with SRM... just had that one phone call that made me go WTF

Steve is great but can be a little absent minded at times... don't hesitate to call him back if he doesn't get to you. I ended up placing a huge order to JNZtuning last time because SRM didn't get back to me in time.
