NX intercooler kit

Has anyone actually used the Nitrous Express intercooler spray kit? Does it actually work. And for all you 4G63 guys, I am running a Stage 2 Hahn turbosystem and DO NOT have built internals so I don't want to jet into the engine yet. Does anyone know if spraying nitrous or C02 onto the intercooler will make a noticeable difference in power?

ON there website it gives a 57 whp gain, but the thing cost 500 a little steep if you ask me. Just spray it with water itll help. Its also safer for the intercooler too.

Price does seem pretty steep. I have already tried to spray water using my windshield squirters rerouted to the top of the intercooler. Didn't really seem to make that much of a diff. 57whp sounds pretty good tho.

it's not working as well as i had hoped though, i think i made the bar too large, maybe too many holes in it...needs to be revised.

My mechanic said it's a good thing to use because it sprays into the intercooler at a certain psi and reduceses the intercooler temp alot. I'm going to be running this in addition to a 75hp shot NX system.

Did you say that the system sprays INTO the intercooler at a certain psi, or did you mean onto? Just want to be sure since I don't have built internals yet. thanks for the info.

Sorry, it spray onto it. The unit mount on the top part of the center bumper dam and sprays onto the front mount intercooler.

I was trying to do something like that but, i couldnt get any solenoids. I was going to run it off a little paintball co2 container. Just run it off the switch but i couldnt ever find all the stuff i would need so i just gave up on that idea

I haven't installed it yet. My car has been in the off the road since last December when it was robbed. I just got the kit in yesterday and I've had major work done on my car since it was broken into so I won't be able to tell if it makes a difference by itself since I had so much work done. I haven't driven my car yet so to me it will just be a large increase in power with all the new mods. A guy I know had it installed and he said he felt that there was a significant increase in power. My car should be done in two weeks so I'll let you know.

Does the NX kit spray when you hit the button to arm it, or does it spray at a certain RPM, or throttle position?

I think it off a button you push and it sprays.
