Ok so i need to know about this, I dont know how to put it so i will give a step by step of whats going on. in 5th gear at 60mph around 2800 rpm i try to do a wot pull and i get nothing no go, it sounds like my bov is opening up too soon. its a stock 2g bov. wont go past 4000 in 5th. now heres the think thats only at a wot pull. if im like 1/4 or 1/2 throttle its ok works fine.in first gear it will shoot up like 6 grand but doesnt go at all... the sound is just like the bov opening but staying open i know all the pipes are good checked them. i got one pull in ad it ran like it should, but after that there was nothing. could my bov took a dump on me? just to clarify when i said dosent go at all i mean like take off and run like a bat outta hell.. the car runs fine and drives good just no wot at all... it kinda spits and sputters when i try a wot. please help me i cant figure out what it is for the life of me

Most likely a boost leak... do a boost leak test

Sounds like a boost leak, that gets worse when you try to push more air thru the motor. Just looking at the pipes isn't going to tell you a thing do a proper blt. Also check the turbo for shaft play just to rule that out.

I had a similar thing happen to me, bad boost leak and the crappy 2G plastic BOV is junk. The boost leak was causing me to foul out plugs. When it'd try to reach full boost it'd studder/miss and go "psh sh sh pshh" while it would jerk. I couldn't seem to fix my leak so I said to heck with it and went with hard piping and an NGR BOV. It's ran perfect ever since.
