timing jaked need help

i jus put a new engine in my eclipse and i was trying to time it i kno for sure i did the timing belt right and the car runs fine but the the timing marks on the crank pulley r like 4 or 5 inches away from the cover where u can see where the engine is timed i have no idea how it got like that...... or how to fix it.....the cam sensor wont adjust far enough...anybody kno ### i can do.....

the timing is way retarded and i cant adjust the cam sensor to correct it it runs ok tho not like the engine time is way off i dont hear knocking or anything like the valves r hittin i have no idea wuts wrong with it.....im kinda new to these cars
