I DONT KNOW WHY EVERYONE HAS THIS TERRIBLE FEAR OF DOING A TRANNY SWAP. I HAD THE WHOLE THING DONE FLAWLESSLY IN A 2 DAYS. ITS NOT THE GREATEST TASK BUT SURELY ANYONE WILLING TO CHANGE A TIMING BELT SHOULD BE UP TO IT. IT JUST TAKES PATIENCE. TO ANYONE THINKING OF DOING A TRANNY SWAP A FEW HINTS: THE DREMMEL TOOL IS YOUR BEST FRIEND, ESPECIALLY WHEN CUTTING OUT THE LINKAGE HOLE AND FOR THE CLUTCH MASTER. ALSO IF ANYONE SHOULD ENCOUNTER A BRASS SPACER AT THE END OF THE CRANK, IT HAS TO COME OFF. ITS A PAIN BUT WITH THE HELP OF THE DREMMEL AND A FEW GOOD CUTTING WHEELS, IT COMES OUT. OH YEAH ONE OTHER THING, IF ITS A FRONT WHEEL DRIVE SUCH AS MY LASER, ITS NOT A BAD IDEA TO SWITCH TO THE AWD AXLES. THEY ARE FAR BETTER WITH AN INTERMEDIATE SHAFT! OK THATS ALL FOR NOW PEACE CRETINS.:laser:

1. Typing in all caps is REALLY annoying.

2. I have done it and can second that it is easy.

3. What problem did you have with the brass spacer? I took mine out very easly.
