1g engine spec link?

Looking for pretty much a blue print of the 4g63 for a 1GA.

Stroke, bore, valve size, engine cfm, etc.

I'm in my high performance class and we have to go a car on the pc builder program.

Any input and/or link would help out greatly!
 
Well, if your in an engine Hi Perf class.

Grab your head and go over to the SuperFlow and measure your head CFM rate.

The rest is simple enough and can be found in about any repair manual.

Ok wise guy!!! A. We aren't building 4g63's, so I don't have a head kicking around to flow test. We are building small block Chevys. Plus I still need cylinder volume, compression height, deck clearance,etc.. There's a lot more to it than just getting head cfm.

B. I'm in Illinois and my talons manual is in my talon.... Where I need it for when I work on it. It's not everyday you need specs like this so I didn't bother grabbing it.

I need the specs for only the pc performance build because we have to do our small block Chevys and compare them to another motor.

A. Well glad you are learning to build an engine, and the SBC is about one of the simplest to build. sort of hard to screw up a build on one....

The flow rates on a 4g63 are posted on this fourm. Along with the cylinder volume, piston compression height, deck clearance should be posted too.

I would have never guessed so much went into figuring out an engine build.. ROFL

My apologize, I do not mean to come off ignorant or immature. It had been a long day and the last thing I felt like doing was searching the web for another hour or two finding the specs. On top of that it wasn't ment to be all day affair. We were given a few hours to complete the lab sheet, all the while putting the bottom end of the small block.

Oh yeah there's a lot to building. Mainly formulas and research, but I figure you guys already know;) Just learning a lot in a short period, but the small blocks been a good learning curve.

Also, when I stated the service manual was in the talon. I meant to say the service manuals in the talon which is stored in a garage 3 hrs away in Michigan. Which I wouldn't get to till this weekend.
