I installed my transmission with a new spec clutch, TOB, OEM re-serfaced Flywheel and the clutch fork was closer to the passenger side I searched and found the post about the fork needing to be closer to the drivers side for the best engagement so I pulled it and shimmed the Pivot ball just wanted some opinions on the placement to make sure its not too far over, there is about 1 inch of movement before it hits the clutch. Thanks

+1 for avoiding putting your lips to the pp/kissing, etc. The sound is awful.

If everything was new, and your flywheel was recently cut - I'd wager that they did it incorrectly.
Did you get an opportunity to have them measure the step height in front of you?

Damn that is close, maybe even closer than my old setup. I had nasty "kissing" on startup and after adjusting the master I ended up shimming the slave out an inch in order to stop it (the trans wasn't coming back out that day).

If you have the time, tear it back down and get your flywheel fixed, otherwise you have the option of running it and crossing your fingers that it will work fine in the end like my setup did.

No I wish I would have i actually read that while searching about this, If I really need to i could pull it back out before i get the axles and other stuff bolted up. I did reuse the fork and ball they looked in ok shape the only thing that is new is the PP clutch disk and TOB.
