I heard the the AEM fuel rails are known to leak even after you replace the orings. I've read that some people have used quick steel around the oring area and didn't have any leaks after that. Besides it looking like shit would there be a problem doing this?
I replaced the AEM with a stock rail, it was a very bad design on AEMs part. Thats probably not what you want to hear but its really not a great piece.

IF you want something that can fail down the road and catch your car on fire go ahead. I would either tap it and screw in some -8 fittings , weld the -8 fittings on or just get a stock fuel rail.
