Im about to do a timing job and delete my bs, my question is can i put the turbo pistons in my nt block before I do my whole swap? Like do I have to do have to wait till im ready to do the whole swap before i can drop the rods and pistons in? Also is there a difference in the timing when you do the swap?

Turbo rods don't have oil hole for wrist pin they had oil squirters in block so be bad idea without getting machined for squirters. But as far as timing no they be same.

I've got about 3 sets of turbo rods sitting in my garage which all have the hole in them.

What about turbo pistons and Nt rods?

The turbo and non turbo rods are the same. The turbo pistons will be fine if you are trying to put a turbo on the car. Oil squirters are kind of a personal preference thing. I've ran many cast piston engines with no oil squirters and haven't had any problems with them. You will want to pull the engine and disassemble it completely. From there you will want to de-grease it and hone the cylinders. If you don't hone the cylinders than the new rings won't seal right.
