2g 16g install kit from fp

Most DSMers dont want to spend the money on a kit like that, its 1/3 the price of the 16g. Many 2g guys choose to tweak the coolant lines they have for their t-25 or 28.

Road Race Engineering's 2G 16-G Turbo Install Kits and Parts

As far as the FP kit, I think its the cheapest one on the market, and FP makes good stuff so I wouldn't think twice about using it. I was looking at the kit, is the oil feed supposed to be from the OFH, can anyone chime in on this? Wouldn't oil pressure be a concern if the kit does not come with a restrictor?
 
You still reuse the coolant lines with the FP 2g install kit. I just installed one on a customer's car here.

I find that you can reuse the lines, make or buy a jpipe, and do your own oil feed and return line setups. Other than that, just need gaskets.
 
Oil feed is supposed to come from the head not the housing correct..The last time I checked I thought fp sold the restricor too, but I could be wrong..

Mits turbo's like the feed coming from the head..But with the restrictor there should not be a problem..And if the kit does not come with the restrictor,I think fp should throw that in the kit..

Yea but the stock 2g turbos were not fed from the head so there might not be any fittings for it (adpater or banjo). The FP kit looks like it has a 3/8 fitting to 4AN. That reminded me of feeding it from the OFH.

Yea, I hope FP has it in the kit, can someone confirm this?
 
I bought my kit from extreme psi. Their kind of pricey but fitment is good. Those return line hoses are a pain in the ass and mine kept leaking so I got a 14b/16g return tube. As for the coolant lines I used my original T25 lines, they fit better.
 
I recently used this exact setup you are considering and I had no problems with it, I did have to re use the stock water lines on my old t28 but everything else in the kit was there
