driving to work made a left and turned my blinker on after the turn it wont turn off. I have tried the right blinker but that doesnt work cause theleft one is going. I put my hazards on and both sides work fine. i have also checked the fuses under the hood. Any other sugestions because it seems like i am an old lady driving with a blinker on down the road haha

The pin inside the turn signal lever breaks. Just replace the whole thing. Only 5 screws and 2 plugs

This is exactly right. This happened to my car about a month ago as of now I dont have blinkers. I just took it apart and set it to off. It's very simple to take out. I tried different kinds of glue but none seem to hold. I will be picking one up from a junkyard soon.

ok and take out the lever and the pin in their?

Well if you are going to replace it right away just take the whole thing out and don't worry about the pin but if you need to drive the car and just want the blinkers off take out the pin and plug them in and move the white plastic piece that the pin fits in until they are off and then just don't touch your blinker lever because they will come back on and you'll have to take it all apart again. I've taken mine apart like 4 times now and reset it so I just keep a phillips in the car just in case they come on again.

ok cool and the entire steering wheel? or just the top part of the lever or can i just unhook the lever?

ok thank god its an easy fix cause i do not wanna be outside today its too hot

Yep not too hard at all the top and bottom piece won't wont to come all the way off but you can move them enough to get to what you need. I hate the heat too but it's been high 90's here lately.

Yep, they break real easy sometimes. I broke 2 already.

Thats why I keep a few extras.

the bottom piece will come off all the way, you just need to lower the tilt lock lever.

I tried to fix the pin by using a screw as the pin. I drill a little bit off center and it didnt fit. i got the whole assembly for $5. so it's not expensive either

ok i tried and i couldnt get the top part off the lever to get to the pin. do i need any tools? anyone have pics to show me a easy way how to?

ok i dont know how to do anything with this blinker situation so for the fluid and spring where do i find that and also take the cap off the lever to get to the pin?

so i understand on the lever the screws are there or under the steering wheel is where the screws are

Did you try filling the blinker fulid resivor? Replace the spring and it will go back when you straighten the wheel, you might have to pull the steering wheel.

WTF? Don't confuse him more than he already is.

OP if you need a new one PM me I have a few laying around.

ok and the cover on the lever for the blinker i just pull off then unscrew 3 screws pull a pin and im good
