How do i install a shift light to a 95 NT eclipse???please help.

I just bought an autometer shift light from a friend and need help on how to install it to my car. i got a 95 non turbo eclipse. i know where the "ground and positive wire goes to" but where do i connect the GREEN wire to????????? please help, email me at [email protected] ASAP if u know how to do it.... thanks

To use a shift light or tach, you must grab a signal from the ECU (white wire on all years; on 95's the wire is located in the middle of the plug on the ECU; on 96+ it is located on the lower plug. Note that it's the solid white wire and NOT the white with yellow stripe).

And don't plug it into the green wires out of the ECU...I know it's tempting to match...

so that is the solid white wire on all models.....even the GST and GSX or just the NT's
