i dont know much about turbo's and stuff but i found this guy who offered me a stock tdo4 turbo, 450cc injectors, manual boost controller, ported o2 housing, o2 sensor pipe, j pipe, and FMIC, and a bov. but he said the stuff came off a 94 talon tsi. so i could use this stuff on my 98 gs right? i would just need to find a manifold that would go on my car that fit the turbo? for all the stuff he said 275 just wondering if its worth it and if it would even fit. definitely need some help! so dont be afraid to give some advice

well i would look at the turbo first, for any shaft play , but it sounds like a great deal, even if you dont use it, you can sell off the parts for more $$$

It does not sound like a bad deall if every thing is good. But with out knowing brand an condition cam not tell you if its a good deal.

You will have a hard time finding a manifold for your car that will fit that turbo, you don't need the o2 housing unless you try to make that turbo work, I don't know what an o2 sensor pipe is, the piping on the FMIC wont work for you, you could probably use the BOV and boost controller though.

All in all, the only reason I'd buy that stuff, is to resell it. If you are trying to boost your 420a, do some searching to see what will work for you.

yeah i dont think im going to do it. cause from what i hear about the turbo everyone upgrades it so id end up replacing that and the manifold i got my car with some mostly cosmetic mods im gonna try to trade with cash for a gsx. shes a girl so hopefully the flashy cosmetics will win her over but then again what kinda of girl drives a 5 speed awd turbo car.. not many but hey im staying positive.

you are correct, it would be kind of a waste to upgrade to the 13g, wich came off a automatic car. you could put that money towards a evo turbo or some much needed other mods.

well maybe im not sure. ut came off a 94 tsi. but can i use it on my car even though mine is 5 speed? i think im gonna do it just so i can get most of the turbo kit together cause i can always up grade later.. but i cannot find a manifold for the turbo anywhere..

actually i looked at the picture of the turbo the guy sent me and it says td04 on it. man im not quite sure what to do.. i wanna boost the car pretty bad but i dont want it done half ass..

Yeah, the turbo from a 94 tsi auto is a tiny 13g turbo. The 2g turbo guys go with atleast a 14b since it is an upgrade over their stock turbo. A manifold for a mitsubishi turbo with not work with your engine. You will have to find a turbo setup for your 420a engine since it is different from the mitsubishi 4g63 engine. I would look elsewhere for a complete turbo setup designed for your engine.

couldnt i custom make one from my stock manifold? this would atleast get me going till i got a better turbo and manifold

If your asking if you could have a manifold made to fit your head and your turbo it would cost as much as it would to buy a manifold already casted for your head an made for a garret flange, and prob have some left over to get a used garret turbo. The blow off valve and front mount and boost controller are all you can really use, the rest you could sell. And a 13b is not a great starter turbo. Its hardly worth the effort your going to go through. There are plenty of pages on here on how to turbo your 420a properly. I did one for a kid off the forums on here and everything worked fine.

well he told me he would do 250 shipped. 225 for parts and 25 for shipping. but is it even worth buying the stuff just for the bov and stuff? seems kinds like a waste
